October Contest Entry Deadline: October 20th
*The model winners will be announced in the following month’s issue of ICON Lifestyle Magazine.*

1st Place:
*Model will have a custom outfit designed for and named after her, and will appear in the vendor ad.
*Model will be added to the Phoenix Rising Model Pool for events and live modeling opportunities.
*Model will receive five (5) outfits of her choice from the Phoenix Rising collection.
*Winning photo will be prominently displayed in the Phoenix Rising main store for at least one month.
*Winning model’s winning photo will be featured in a future ad for The Phoenix Rising Model of the Month contest to be printed in ICON Lifestyle Magazine.
1st Runner Up:
* Three (3) Gift Certificates for an outfit of choice from Phoenix Rising.
*Photos will be displayed in the Phoenix Rising main store for at least one month.
2nd Runner Up:
* One (1) Gift Certificate for an outfit of choice from Phoenix Rising.
*Photos will be displayed in the Phoenix Rising main store for at least one month.
All winners will also be placed on the Phoenix Rising Flickr page and blog.

This is NOT a voting contest! Entries will be pre-screened by Phoenix Rising staff and final winners will be chosen by Ashoka Eales, designer for Phoenix Rising. Any judges participating in the monthly contest will not be named publicly.
RULES:
(Please read carefully and completely)
****The model should be wearing a CURRENT OUTFIT or a combination of outfits from Phoenix Rising (NO DISCONTINUED OUTFITS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Previously submitted photos will not be accepted.).****
*No nudity allowed, all photos must be geared towards fashion and show the designs in a flattering way.
*The main focus of the photo should be the designs themselves, followed by the look and styling of the model and then photography quality.
*Only Phoenix Rising label clothing and jewelry should appear in the photo. No pieces from any other designer should appear.
*Models who already model for Phoenix Rising may enter, but previous 1st place winners are ineligible to participate.
*Men may not appear in the photo.
*No more than one female in any photo.
*Photo processing and artistic additions to the photos are accepted and encouraged, but alterations to the integrity of the basic design or color of the clothing or jewelry should not be made in processing the photos.
*Prizes will not be distributed until after the photoshoot is complete.

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Create a folder titled “Phoenix Rising Model of the “Month – (Your Name Here)”
- Please do not include the quotations or parentheses in the title of the notecard
2. In the folder, place a notecard with the same title inside of it. Restate your name and the name of your photographer in the notecard.
3. List the items you are wearing in the notecard.
4. Place a FULL PERMS copy of your entry photo inside the *FOLDER*. NOT the notecard. Title the photo with your name only.
5. Drop the folder to RubyStarlight Writer by the 20th of the month.
*ONE photo entry per person, per month.*
*If the folder is not named properly, it cannot be easily located and judged and will be automatically disqualified.*
*If any of the guidelines are deviated from, the entry will be disqualified.*

*No theme will be in effect for the contest. Each submission has complete creative license. However, each photo should feature at least one article of clothing from both Nardcotix and Phoenix Rising, a mix and match of both designers in a creative way.
*No nudity allowed, all photos must be geared towards fashion and show the designs in a flattering way.
*The main focus of the photo should be the designs themselves and the creativity of the mixed and match clothing pieces, followed by the look and styling of the model and then photography quality. All qualities will be considered in the final judging.
*Only Einstein label clothing and jewelry should appear in the photo. Einstein label includes Phoenix Rising, Nardcotix, and Chloe Jewelry.
*Men may not appear in the photo.
*No more than one female in any photo.
*Photo processing and artistic additions to the photos are accepted and encouraged, but alterations to the integrity of the basic design or color of the clothing or jewelry should not be made in processing the photos.
*Model winner must be available for a photoshoot sometime between the 17th-21st of the month for the magazine ad. If model is unavailable the runner up with take her place and the original winner will receive the runner up prize.
*Prize money and gift certificates will not be distributed until after the photoshoot is complete.
**The model winners will be announced at a party that will be announced via the Einstein groups subscription list. Following that party the winners will be announced in The Best of SL Magazine Readers group. Applicants will need to join the Einstein subscription list as well as the magazine readers group to receive any and all information about the process and results of each contest held by the Einstein labels. Subscription kiosks are located all around the stores where you find the contest information. To join the reader’s group, search the profile of Frolic Mills, look at his groups, open The Best of SL Magazine Readers, and click join. Or you may contact RubyStarlight Writer for an invite.**
